Sixth Form Facilities

The 6th Form Area/ICT Facilities

The 6th form may use their own computer/tablet devices in the 6th form study area and the dining hall or any room in the school during their study time having gained permission from the 6th Form office. In addition we also have a small number of laptops available for use in the 6th Form office. The 6th form area, dining area or spare classrooms may be used for independent study.

Please note that the DCHS IT Support team will track usage of devices to ensure the School Safe Internet Policy is adhered to.

The 6th Form Study Area

This lower wing of the school building situated in D corridor and the dining hall is exclusive to 6th form students during lesson time. Students are expected to work in this room during independent study periods, and can use the room to relax and socialise at break or lunchtimes. It should have an adult and productive atmosphere. Please help to keep it tidy and act in a mature way.

Mobile phones can be used in these areas to listen to music as students study independently.
