The Creative Arts Faculty places Arts, Culture, and Creativity at the heart of every student's learning journey, inspiring and challenging them to achieve their best. Our core belief is in raising achievement for all students, regardless of background, through creative, cultural, and inspirational experiences. This commitment is evidenced by our Artsmark Platinum Status. Our vision is to empower young people to value their self-worth and voice while developing essential practical and critical thinking skills across the Visual and Performing Arts. We ensure all students access a broad Arts curriculum and extra-curricular activities at KS3, and offer significant leadership opportunities through the Arts Award scheme, available from Bronze to Gold across all Key Stages. We provide clear pathways for progression into creative subjects at KS4 and KS5, supporting success in Foundation Studies, Creative Degrees, and future employment. We are dedicated to building students' Cultural Capital and fostering interdisciplinary skills through strong community partnerships.
