11 male members of staff are raising funds and awareness this Movember for all the dads, brothers, sons and mates in our lives. Movember is a charity that raise awareness for mens mental health, suicide, prostate and testicular cancer. It is statistically more likely for males to not seek help compared to our female counterparts therefore many men die far too young. Mr wilkinson organised for the teachers to grow out their beards so that each of staff can have a facial hair style that was voted for by the students.

We have currently raised £239 as of Friday 8th November. We are still collecting donations throughout the month as well as planning to stage the removal of our tashes in the last week. (students could possibly do the removal if the have the right money)
if you would like to support us in raising money you can help in a couple of different ways.
Donate online at https://moteam.co/dchs?mc=1
Give your children some donation money to pass to their form tutor.
Drop off your donation at reception
All funds raised in school will be sent to the Movember charity at the end of the month.
Thank you to everyone for supporting us and joining us for looking silly for a month for a fantastic cause.
