The General Studies Department

General Studies is offered as an additional entitlement to our AS/A2 students. The course enables students to gain an extra qualification and transferable skills that will support their other subjects.

The course helps students to acquire a broader based knowledge on a variety of topics including science, technology, politics, economics, the environment, beliefs and the arts, media and culture.

Our Aims

We aim to enable students to:

• To form opinions and debate issues.
